Real life is a cruel thing.
I'm alive, but most of the time I'm out of reach. The situation should improve in the next week or so.
Just thought I'd let you all know.

My life is returning to its normal state of chaos slowly. I'm currently finishing up my project and plan to start writing again this weekend. I even planned a little ritual to mark the continuation of my favourite hobby.
If everything goes as planned (and it should this time), I'll be posting an actual status update soon.
So, you'll all be seeing more of me again in a couple of days.
Last week, I accepted a time-consuming project. Extremely time-consuming. For now, my life, my writing and everything else is pretty much on hold.
The best I can do is visit the sites I frequent for only a couple of minutes, just to check out what's happening. It's the same with this site.
I also have a bunch of unanswered mails that I need to go through and a challenge story to finish. Fun, isn't it?
moshpit's review of BoD made me write about an image I found amusing, but it never fit into Bringer of Death.
To be more precise, it was his reference to Pink Floyd.
Learning To Fly
He was different. She could tell. He never behaved in the way she expected him to. She was used to that, same as she was used to the fact that he found strange things more appetizing than rodents. This was unusual, of course, but acceptable.
Two days ago, I was sorry to hear that Richard Wright has passed away. I have a huge appreciation for keyboardists, and while he rarely indulged himself in virtuoso displays, his keyboard textures were amongst the best I have ever heard.
No surprise there, considering where he played and what masterpieces he co-wrote.
A sad day for Pink Floyd fans.
I'm going to drop in a musical recommendation, too.
Those who enjoy rock, or progressive rock to be more precise, might consider giving a go to Kayak's latest album, Coming Up For Air.
You know that site that SIYE linked to in the latest news post?
Well, parakletos raised a valid issue on that forum. And the admin/mod explanations were a bit dubious and even conflicting.
The issue was the AU category, or what exactly belongs into that category. And since I can't keep my mouth closed, or fingers resting, in this case, I gave my own reply/view of the situation.
And what happened? Well, it seems I'm confused. And the topic is now locked.
Amazing!
But fortunately, I was offered an opportunity to PM the admin about my confusion. We'll see how that goes.
Last few days, I've been trying to get up earlier. I have to admit, my long vacation turned me into an extremely lazy person.
Some of you may know that I have a sleeping disorder. Nothing serious really, I get enough sleep during the day, it's just that the timing of my sleep is weird and unusual.
The lack of routine during the vacation only added to that, so I've been sleeping till 1PM.
As I said in my last post, CoH:3 is in late beta and Meddle:11 is in early beta.
Now, CoH:4 is in early beta.
CoH:5 is half-way drafted and could be ready for beta maybe even next week.
Meddle:12 is also half-way drafted, but it'll take longer to piece together.
CoH:3 is in late beta.
Meddle:11 is in beta.
I'm in epsilon and plan to send postcards from Mars.
Now, where's my cookie?
OK, it's time for some updates.
A Change Of Heart, Chapter 3 is in early beta.
A Change Of Heart, Chapter 4 is being pieced together from scenes I've written earlier.
Chapter 5 of the same story had to be re-written a bit, but it'll be the last one.
