I bet everyone thought I was gone. :) I see haven't left a blog entry for over 8 months. Yup, I've been busy (and sometimes lazy. :) Two big pieces of news: "Lily's Child" ch 3 is finally out, and I'm looking for a couple of betas.

I finally did it, LC ch 3 is finally posted on all 3 sites I've published LC to. Not sure when they will all be visible (as some sites require another person to hit a button), but it is there. Most of the delay has been my fault. Motivation for the story comes and goes, so that is one problem. A bigger problem is that I changed my writing process and really hurt myself. I've learned a painful lesson, but one that I probably needed to learn. I also seem to have lost a beta, and that also slowed things down (how long do you wait before you move on?). Sigh... Oh well, ch 4 should be heading down the beta path soonish.

So, betas... Yes, I'm looking for 2 betas, for different stories. If you'd like to apply, please send me a mesage, email, something. I'll try to keep an eye on this site for a reply.

Beta 1 should have significant knowledge of Japan and the culture there. Writing experience is not necessary, just the ability to give advice, pointers, and correction. Yup, this is for Lily's Child.

Beta 2 is for a final check on a story I've been working in my spare time over the last few months. A plot bunny grabbed me and wouldn't let go. :) I've made some significant changes to the story since the last person saw it, so 1 last set of eyes to look it over before it posts would be useful. The most important skills needed here are for spelling and punctuation. Note, this is a Harry/multi story and so it will not be posted here (it's rated PG-15 in my mind, so nothing very explicit).

I want to wish everyone a Happy Christmas! I've got a week off from work ... maybe my wife will even let me do a little writing. ;)
