Who is your 'go to guy'?

Not a Brit phrase, I know, but in the sense of when you want to sit down and have a good read of a fic you like who do you pick. Mine is currently _kb_ , who is yours?

While I have read and reread many a story it is these authors that I know I've read theirs at least half a dozen times at least; both finished (if they have them) or WIP.

    Actually...

I usually end up with St. Margarets, partially because I don't often want to read something really long when I'm in that kind of mood.

    Go to guy(s)

Not so much any single guy (bloke?) as a style of plot and character development that resonates with me. Oh yeah, I'm a sucker for a really good romance.
    - St. Margarets is the best romance writer in my opinion. "Six Days" is a classic and I will re-read it just to study the character development over the eponymous time period.
    - Arabella over at sugarquill.net's archives has a series of wonderful Ron/Hermione stories. Her enchanted diary in the "Hermione Queen of Witches" series is where I took the idea for the Corresponding Diaries in The Lost Tower series.
    - Rhetor's stories, despite their apparent atmosphere of despair, have very strong characters who bend (or perhaps are ruthlessly bent) but never break.

Then there are individual stories by authors that I return to:
    - Parakletos' "And On the Eight Day?" Honestly, who can resist a seductive Slytherin!Ginny? Obviously NOT Harry! =)
    - Sovran's "Seventeen" portrays a Harry/Ginny partnership and trust I find very in character. He also has a thinking/plotting Harry that foreshadows canon Harry's character after the escape from Malfoy Manor.
    - Viridian's "There's Always a Way" for the sheer fun of it.

    For me it is:
Parakletos (I know you haven't gotten back to them in a while, but I was really enjoying Twelve Months and Sins of the Father)
    St. Margarets (Anything by her!)
    MyGinevra
Count Westwest (anxiously awaiting an update on Ginny Duty)

    Really, and story where

Really, and story where Harry and Ginny are smart, independent, and taking on the various challenges tossed at them as a team is what I go back to when I want something to read that I know I'll like.

I actually re-read that myself... lol!

    The First One's I read

I tend to go back to the first HP fanfiction I read, so Mr. Intel, St. Margarettes, Melindaleo, CreativeQuill, and a few other authors have stories I reread at least once year. There are a few favourite stories I will re-read on occasion as well, but not a particular author.
