I loved this when I read it on SIYE and PS, so I'm intrigued to see whether I can spot any changes. (I'm also interested to see which version you posted ;-)
This is one of the top five fics of all time, an interesting read leaving everyone guessing till the end, and the standard to which all Slytherin Ginny fics are held
I wish I could have written more in this universe but inspiration wouldn't come. I did write the first draft in one weekend having previously tried and failed to tackled the idea a year before.
I know that you can't write without the inspiration, but let me add my tiny voice of support for anything else you come up with in this universe. I've not yet read this latest version (I read the PS version once or twice), but I'm looking forward to it.
I always like re-reading this story, and I always come away with a barrage of questions, mostly around the changes you've made from canon. I want to know, oh, off the top of my head...
how come it was Peter tricking James into nearly getting killed by Remus, and therefore whether your Marauders were Animagi;
what happened with the Diary, and what killed Dumbledore in the end;
why Remus is in prison for betraying James and Lily instead of Sirius.
If you ever do follow this up, I guess what I'd most like to see is Snape and Umbridge getting their just deserts, but above anything else Remus' vindication, assuming he deserves one as you so heavily imply.
It's been a long time since I last read this story and it didn't loose anything in the re-read. Nice spin and I'll have to check out some of your other works
There is no more back story to this than made its way into the story itself. And that is why, more than anything else, there will be nothing else in this universe.
'I know that you can't write without the inspiration, but let me add my tiny voice of support for anything else you come up with in this universe.'
One draft did have a further scene or two when Ginny was able to rub everyone's nose in it. If I'd carried on, you'd have seen a very Slytherin Ginny at work :)

So? Trot it out, and give us a good look at Saturday ;-)
I remember how much I loved this the first time I read it. Made me smile on some crappy day in the desert. I hope a muse strikes you to write something more. Doesn't have to be here in this universe, or any particular one. Just hoping someone else gets to smile from the fine writing you've brought us. Now I get to go see if there was ever an end to another story I recall enjoying as well. ^_^

This version is on my re-read list too. I'm looking forward to re-visiting the Eighth Day.
And the answer is...
I don't know.
Really, I don't.

Hey, that'd be fun. They deserved it, even if it isn't central to the plot.
