Harry,
I hope you do not mind me calling you by your given name, my dear. You remind me so much of my own son that I feel as if you are one of my own.Indeed, Finlay was as brave and noble as you he constantly got into all sorts of shenanigans, but he always did manage to get it right in the end. (Except for his last scrape, but who would have thought that sticking your hand into a doxys nest could result in such grievous and fatal bodily harm? We certainly didnt.)
Anyway, I am writing you to say I am not quite certain that Hogwarts is adequately equipped to take care of you. Oh, I have no doubt that Poppy Pomfrey (we went to Hogwarts together, do say hello for me) is a more than acceptable nurse, but still
maybe you should insist on being transferred to St Mungos? Especially with you being an orphan and all. My daughter, Bonnie, just recently finished her training as a Healer and I have no doubt that she would be more than happy to supervise your recuperation.
Well, ta for now and do get some rest, my dear. Send us an owl if you want Bonnie to come up for you. Itll be no trouble at all.
Yrs affectionately,
Mrs Leslie McAllister

Dear Mr. Potter,
My wife and I wish to extend our condolences for your recent injury and our hopes for your complete recovery.
As one of the Governors of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, let me assure you that I will certainly investigate whatever administrative inefficiencies or lapses may have resulted in your mishap.
At such times as these, it may be worth reflecting on the fact that Hogwarts, like many places in the Wizarding world, is full of hazards and unforeseen dangers. It is often wise to avoid taking unnecessary risks.Ones friends, after all, can protect one only so far.
Cordially,
Lucius Malfoy

Dear Harry,
Professor McGonagall has assured us that youll recover fully in the next day or two, and were very glad to hear that. Caitlins been on a rampage about proper maintenance of the Quidditch pitch ever since we heard that the steps had given out. She insisted on writing the Headmaster about it, though we dont expect shell get a response.
We hope that all of your lessons are going well. Were looking forward to seeing you and Seamus for the holidays.
Get well soon,
Aoife & Darius

Dear Harry,
My name is Ginny Weasley. Percy, George, Fred, and Ron are my brothers. Percy wrote about how you fell off the stairs at the Quidditch pitch. Next time, try not to step where there isnt a step.
Im only joking. Are you sure that one of the twins didnt have something to do with it? Dont be afraid to tell them off if they did. I finally had to hex them to stop them barging into my room. I got caught with Mums wand, so I got in trouble, too. But it worked.
I hope you feel better soon.
Love from,
Ginny

Dear Mister Potter,
On behalf of all your housemates, let me wish you a speedy recovery.Gryffindor House isn't the same without you.
Sincerely yours,
Minerva McGonagall
P.S. A period of enforced bed-rest may be the ideal time to catch up on one's reading. While your Transfiguration work has certainly been competent thus far, a little extra polishing never hurts.

Mr. Potter,
I heard about that
dreadful fall you had at the school today. I hope that someone gets sacked for not keeping a closer eye on the students. If I were at Hogwarts, I would make sure you were safe and that you got all the respect and admiration you deserve. Some people have forgotten, I suppose, but I still think about what you did for us all when you were just a baby. We would all be in a sad state if not for you, and I think that everyone needs to keep that in mind.
Tell the school nurse to give you lots of dittany. Its the very best thing for scrapes and bruises. Im sure youll be up and about in no time.
With utmost admiration,
Marigold M. Elsinger

Dear Harry,
By far the best method of skiving off classes we've seen yet.Our hats are off to you!Enclosed please find various experimental items that may, if used judiciously, extend your stay in the Infirmary for an indefinite period of time. Or you may have already done so by opening this letter.
Cheers,

Dear Harry,
Every celebrity in the Wizarding world is absolutely crushed to hear of your accident. We all wish you a speedy recovery.
While I am certain that Madame Pomfrey is qualified to handle such things, I am happy to offer my own services in tending your wounds. As you may know from Chapter 17 of
Travel with Trolls, I have frequently been called upon to heal fractures and other impact-related injuries. My bone-restoration spells are, if I may say so, famous.
Just drop me a line if you are interested.I am sure that the
Daily Prophet would be delighted to cover such an event.

Harry,
Are you OK? Mum said you fell about 200 feet. Did you really break both your legs? Are they mended yet? Does it hurt? I hope it doesnt. I wish I was there, too. I could make sure you got better fast.
I wrote a letter to Prof. Dumbledore. I think its really horrible that the Quidditch pitch broke right under your feet. The Headmaster should make sure its safe. What is he doing if he cant even keep the pitch safe? I dont want you going up that way any more. What if you fell again? Just stay on the parts that are sturdy.
Mum and I made some biscuits to send to you. Dont let Seamus eat them. Theyre not for him. As soon as you get better, you have to send me a letter and tell me youre OK. And make sure Dumbledore fixes the pitch!
Love,
Cat
P.S. Did you enjoy the match? I wish I could have watched it with you.

Dear Harry Potter,
I hope you dont mind a letter from someone youve never really spoken to. Ive always intended to get to know you, but Ive been quite busy since the start of term, and you always seem to have lots of people hanging about you. Once we get to talk a bit, Im sure well get along very well.
I just wanted to say that I hope you heal very quickly and dont experience much discomfort. My family have attended Hogwarts for generations, so naturally Ive always known that attending the school can be dangerous. I suspect you might have been surprised by that, since you were so tragically separated from normal society. Dont worry, though: Madam Pomfrey is very skilled. Im sure youll be fully healed in time to go to lessons on Monday. If you do miss any classes, Ill be quite happy to lend you my notes and review everything with you.
Looking forward to our future relationship,
Amanda E. Brocklehurst
