Myy first thought looking at the Hermione cover for Total FILM Magazine was, "Why does she look like Tonks?"

I know Kloves has a fixation with Hermione but please don't tell me he wrote her as the one pregnant with Teddy.

I'm curious if there are any good fics involving Harry Potter and the Cold War.

I know we have members on this forum from many countries, many proficient writers who know that when penning any prose, story or screenplay the two most important things are an outline and research.

I figured I'd set up a new thread for people to solicit opinions on various fics, without the need to post a full review in the other review thread.

Anyone read Continuum by Mutt N. Feathers? Should I start it? My only criterion for starting it would be "it's a good/very good story."

We both like H/G soul bond stories,we have both read (and are still reading) MoO by Sovran and Harry Potter and Fate's Debt by Intromit.
We would like recommendations of some good soul bond stories. They can be complete or WIP.

Can anyone point me to some worthwhile fics where Harry attends a school other than Hogwarts. I'm very vanilla i.e. canon in my shipping preference which may limit the fics you can recommend.

Why is it that in order to read fanfiction at a site like FFnet, you have to allow Microsoft to run Javascript in your browser?

I strongly recommend add-ins to your default Firefox load of NoScript (*), AdBlock Plus, Tab Mix Plus, Flash Block, Better Privacy, and "Targeted Advertising Cookie Opt-Out (TACO)". Between this collection, web browsing is actually fast, appealing, and has a very low irritation factor.

Every once in a while, I come across a fan fic containing some unintentional humor, and I thought I would pass one on I came across today. Considering the big deal JKR made about how awful potions taste, I found it especially amusing.

"she made her way to the kitchen and took out a vile of pain relieving potion"

While I both understand and agree with this site's guiding persuasion, I also appreciate the level of writing that this site provides enough to ask: what are the best non-HG fics?
